Talent Hunt

An event “ SKILLS N’ THRILLS” …….. A Talent Show was organized by the Government College, Raipur Rani in the makeshift premises of the college on 18th and 19th September, 2018. Students and faculties of all the departments attended the event.. The main objective was to give the students a platform to showcase their talents in various fields, thus nurturing the intrinsic qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among students which helps in personality development too. Students exhibited their talents in various activities . On the first day, main focus was on literary items such as speech competition, poetic symposium, mimicry , Quiz and painting competition. The main theme of speech competition was women empowerment and how the key to the changing scenario has been literacy and education of women. Mimicry was also a part of the talent hunt where two students mimicked the movie actors. Many students recited their choicest poems on diverse themes. The paintings on the other hand were focused on environmental and gender issues and then to express their concerns about them through art. Lastly, there were two teams who participated in the quiz competition . The quiz competition was organized by Mrs Monika, dept of Commerce and Ms Mandeep, Dept of Public administration. Students thoroughly enjoyed the performance of teams in the quiz competition.
