A series of
activities were held at G.C.Raipur Rani to celebrate Raksha Bandhan as a symbol of safety and protection of
girls. The series of events was
organized for three days from 23-08-2018 to 25-08-2018 by Women Cell Incharge
Ms Mandeep.
1.
Slogan writing competition was held on
23/8/2018 on women Safety and
Empowerment. The best three
presentations were chosen for prizes.
2.
Discussion among groups of boys and girls was
arranged on women safety issues.
3.
Organized empowerment march/ rally on 24/8/18 to
create social awareness with the support of district administration.
4.
Special assembly on Raksha Bandhan with key
speaker Dr (Mrs) Rajni Bhalla who addressed students on the relevant topics
like gender sensitization, etc.
